Where can you buy high-quality coffee beans for your business?

Choosing a professional coffee bean supplier isn’t always easy. Quality, sourcing and roasting all make a difference. That’s why we work with carefully selected artisan roasters who are passionate about their craft and the coffee they produce.

For them, great coffee goes far beyond what ends up in the cup. Our roasting partners put people first, building long-term relationships with coffee producers. The beans are carefully hand-picked and sorted, reflecting a level of craftsmanship that deserves to be recognised.

Fair pricing helps ensure producers are properly rewarded for their expertise, while supporting more environmentally responsible farming practices.

What types of coffee are best for businesses?

The right coffee depends first and foremost on who will be drinking it. Let’s start with single-origin coffee. Sourced from a specific region, country or farm, it is prized for its traceability and distinctive flavour profile, shaped by the characteristics of its terroir.

Paired with a professional coffee machine, single-origin coffee is ideal for discerning coffee drinkers and anyone looking to discover a more refined coffee experience.

Then there are coffee blends, which combine beans from different origins. Some bring together Arabica and Robusta to balance the qualities of each:

  • Arabica brings smoothness, aromatic complexity and more delicate flavours.
  • Robusta adds body, intensity and a thicker crema.

Blends tend to offer a smooth, balanced and consistent flavour, making them an excellent choice for a wide range of tastes. They are particularly well suited to restaurants and high-volume environments, where consistency from cup to cup is essential.

Is it better to buy whole bean or ground coffee?

For the best coffee experience, whole bean coffee is the better choice for your customers and visitors:

  • Once coffee is ground, its aromas and oils quickly begin to deteriorate through oxidation. Whole beans stay fresh for much longer after roasting.
  • Grinding on demand helps preserve the coffee’s full range of flavours and aromas.
  • Whole beans make it easier to assess quality at a glance, from the consistency of the roast to the absence of broken or burnt beans and the overall uniformity of the batch.
  • You can also reduce waste by grinding only the amount you need.

How should you store coffee beans to keep them fresh?

Oxygen, moisture and light are the three main enemies of coffee beans. Always protect your coffee from exposure to air by storing it in an airtight container.

You can also use a vacuum-sealed coffee container. Designed to remove excess air, these containers create a partial vacuum that helps slow oxidation and keep your coffee fresher for longer.

Avoid leaving coffee beans in the grinder hopper for too long. Exposure to light and air will cause them to lose their freshness more quickly.

And what about the fridge? It’s best avoided. Condensation can introduce moisture to your coffee and affect its flavour, leaving you with a duller, less aromatic cup.

Coffee beans also dislike significant changes in temperature. Keep them away from heat sources such as coffee machines, ovens, radiators and direct sunlight.
